They consisted of Guy Manuel de Homem-Christo (The gold guy), and Thomas Bangalter (The silver guy), but in order to simplify their names, they referred to them as simply Daft Gold and Daft Silver. They saved many lives with their music (by turning up the bass really high) and composed Engineer's theme song. 4chan Sniper made fun of them and called them stupid astronauts, but they
