On one hand, Cyberpunk 2077 is a more earnest and sincere game than what CD Projekt Red’s edgy marketing suggested. On the other, there’s nothing revolutionary on offer here. Instead, it’s a game obsessed with the past. The game’s release date is Dec. 10 on PC, PS4, Stadia, and Xbox One; PS5 and Xbox Series X versions are scheduled to launch in 2021.
