Sony STARVIS 2 sensor All DR970X-PLUS front cameras now feature the new STARVIS 2 IMX678 sensor, which greatly improves sensitivity in low-light and high-contrast areas. Improved ISP tuning BlackVue's own refinement to the image sensor processor, enhancing its ability to capture intricate details like license plates in low-light conditions, even when headlights cause reflections on vehicles. 2x the event buffer The DR970X-PLUS models now feature a 10-second buffer, up from 5 seconds for previous models. Meaning auto event triggers record twice as much. HEVC/H.265 codec Higher-efficiency video coding compression algorithm better preserves details and also allows for recording at a higher bitrate.
